Frugal in everyway?

I guess you could say even my posts are frugal and no more than necessary. Maybe a bit too miserly actually! So it's been three months since my "release" from the old job and I am pretty much ready to start looking for something new and interesting for the new year, job wise. It would be awesome to top up the severance with some extra cash with only regular work hours..or maybe just part time hours..hmm.

The extra money would come in handy for the latest and greatest adventure we hope to undertake, DRIP's. Yes, we are looking into setting up a group of dividend reinvestment plans and see what we can learn from this. We will have a nice tax refund coming in the new year and plans are to invest pretty much all of it. As well, C has been reading "Stop Working" by Derek Foster as has become curious about the whole idea.

My latest read has been "Detox you finances" by John Middleton which was a good overview of the basic money management stuff. It's for the UK crowd though some of the wording and sayings may not make much sense if you don't know the lingo..it made me want to go to Britain again. I am always interested in travel though, so it doesn't take much to make me want to go. Maybe in 2008 when we get a new work situation underway..
